Easy Flower Centerpiece
A glass compote is a footed bowl meant to serve desserts, I love to use my compote for easy centerpieces. Its shallow but wide mouth makes it an easy vessel to hold simple bunches of flowers. Cosmos, a fabulous field flower is available by the bunch at farm stands and markets once summer peaks.
Ingredients:

Flowers: www.proflowers.com
Flower clippers: www.jamaligarden.com
Tip: Remove all leaves from the stem of the flower that will rest below the water line to retard bacteria growth in the water. After a few days, clip an inch from the bottom of the stems and replenish with fresh water for a long-lasting arrangement.
